It's been quite a while that I am interested in university teaching!
I have become involved in the education community in various ways, first by following training in higher education and then by giving myself such workshops (I am for example an Instructional Skills Workshop facilitator). I have also been active in various education activities of the UBC math department such as workshops, reading groups and seminars.
Back in Switzerland, I have organized (by myself or in collaboration with others) various workshops and training in university teaching and pedagogy. I have given these workshops for the teaching centres of the University of Geneva (where I work) as well as for EPFL.
At the moment my work focuses on helping the university instructors (faculty, post-doc, PhD students) improve their teaching skills through workshop and individual advising. I also work on promoting teaching innovations at UNIGE.
